10 Years of Wonder

At the start of December, we celebrated our tenth annual Trust Shakespeare festival with four ambitious productions.

Collaborating on four performances, this was the first time that all participating schools shared the stage at Abbeyfield School over a single day.

Under the leadership of Tertia Sefton-Green at HMDT Music, each of our school teams worked with actor Ryan Early on their voice and text skills, and theatre designer Mark Friend to develop the visual aspects of the worlds they have created. Rehearsing apart and together this was a challenge for all involved, but resulted in compelling Shakespeare told inventively.
