A-level performance goes up another notch for CET schools
Students in CET schools are today celebrating as another record breaking set of results for post 16 students are published.
At Ash Green School in Bedworth, performance in both academic and vocational subjects has improved markedly with over 65% of exams taken achieving A*-B. Abbeyfield School in Northampton, hard on the heels of being judged “Good” in all categories by Ofsted, posted its best ever results. The sixth form at the Rugeley Academies saw another very strong student performance and at Weavers in Wellingborough, a huge leap in vocational performance produced the school’s best ever overall performance.
Philip Cantwell, CET’s Director of Education, said “These outstanding results reflect the huge efforts made by our students and their teachers. But most importantly, they give students the qualifications to progress to the most prestigious Universities including Oxford and Cambridge and to take advantage of all that is on offer to them.”
