Recruitment and selection process
Step 1: Online application
If you have found a job vacancy that you would like to apply to, please fill out the online application form in full via our recruitment portal (this will require you to create an account). Our recruitment portal helps us manage job openings and stay connected with all candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Step 2: Shortlisting
We evaluate all applications based on the job and person specification criteria. If your application is not successful, we will inform you via email. As per our job applicant privacy notice, if your application for employment is unsuccessful, the organisation will hold your data on file for six months.
Step 3: Interview
If you are shortlisted for an interview, we will reach out to provide all the details, including the date, time, location, and an overview of what to expect during the interview.
Our Recruitment Policy follows the guidance set out by Keeping Children Safe in Education. All shortlisted candidates are subject to online checks and referencing prior to interview (we will not contact your referees if you have specified us not to via your application form).
Depending on the role, there may be a second interview stage involving additional team members or departments.
Step 4: After interview
If you are successful, you will receive a conditional verbal offer via phone call directly from the line manager or a member of the recruitment team. If you verbally accept the offer, you will then receive an offer letter and contract online to digitally sign, and instructions on completing our onboarding process and pre-employment checks.
If you are unsuccessful, you will be contacted within 48 hours of the interview directly from the line manager or a member of the recruitment team via phone call.
